Barcelona are interested in Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon.
The Mirror says it would be a sensational switch as the Spurs full back is a former Real Madrid player with a £27.5million buy-back clause for him to return to the Bernabeu. Barcelona are trying to sign a top left back this summer and have also been linked with Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso who is also on their radar.
But Reguilon may also be available this summer as he has struggled to hold down a place under Antonio Conte despite Tottenham’s Italian boss using wing backs. Ryan Sessegnon has established himself on the left and Matt Doherty was even starting ahead of Reguilon on occasion before injury.
Reguilon has made 67 appearances for Spurs over two seasons, including 22 Premier League starts this term but his chances have become fewer as it looks increasingly unlikely he will leave. A potential deal for Reguilon could help raise funds for Tottenham to help them rebuild this summer which could be crucial if they want to keep Conte.
