Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis admits Luis Enrique is out of the running for the coach’s job.

The former Barcelona coach has been linked with Napoli as Luciano Spalletti steps down at the end of the season.

But De Laurentiis explained: “He wants to go to the Premier League, we compete with leagues that are more attractive than ours.

“I can tell him that there is no gulf there and you don’t eat as well as we do, but more than this…

“We are evaluating coaches for the 4-3-3, I have evaluated a dozen profiles, I will choose the best to continue the cycle.”

Enrique is being linked with Tottenham, having also held talks with Chelsea before their appointment of Mauricio Pochettino.
