Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi is demanding backing in the summer market.
De Zerbi has guided Brighton into Europe for the first time, but faces losing star pair Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo.
The manager said, “We are not ready to play three games a week, we have never done.
“We will have to work in the transfer window, we will have to build a stronger team, with more players. The result achieved this year has been incredible and our dream is to continue to grow. The season is over and for me it is bad news, without football it’s tough.
“Now I’ll go back to Italy for a while, but always thinking about how to improve the club. This season has been fantastic, we have to try to repeat ourselves.”
