Amad Diallo’s loan deal to Birmingham City collapses

Manchester United’s Amad Diallo proposed loan move to Championship side Birmingham City has collapsed.

The Ivorian is not in the plans of new manager Ralf Rangnick and will leave on loan this month in search of kore game time with staying in the UK a top priority by his parent club despite interest from Dutch side Feyenoord.

“Amad Diallo update. Manchester United have no full agreement with Birmingham City after further contacts – loan deal now expected to collapse.

“Amad will 100% leave on loan. Four proposals on the table, Feyenoord want him since August but player priority is for UK clubs,” transfer guru Fabrizio Romano noted in one of his tweets.

The winger who has found games hard to come by in the first team at Old Trafford has been a consistent figure in the club’s U23 side was to join Feyenoord in the summer of 2021 on a loan deal but the deal collapsed after he picked an injury a week to his move.
