Mikel Arteta insists Arsenal will find a role for Jack Wilshere in the future.
The former Gunners midfielder trained with the north London club after being released by Bournemouth.
Wilshere signed with Danish side Aarhus this week to end his football hiatus.
Asked whether Wilshere could return one day in a coaching capacity, Arteta responded: “One hundred per cent.
“I think everyone at the club would be willing to open the doors for him and try to find a role for him that would work for everybody.
“I think that will happen naturally in the future.”
Arteta’s side take on Wolves on Thursday in a vital clash for their top-four hopes.
