Fulham midfielder Harry Wilson is urging Wales teammate Neco Williams to leave Liverpool.
Wilson left Anfield to join Marco Silva’s side in a £12million transfer last summer. Williams moved to the Championship winners for the second half of the season in a loan deal in February.
Wilson said, “Who knows, maybe he can come back next year. He did really well on loan and it was like he’d been there for the full year.
“He managed to get a couple of assists, few goals and lots of minutes under his belt and you could see from his performance the other day it has done him a world of good.
“Neco was at a similar age that I was when I had my first loan to Hull, and I feel like when you’re at that age, 20-21, you need to get first-team football.
“He was in a decent position at Liverpool to learn from the best right-back in the world but it came to a point where he had to go and get minutes for himself.
“It’s benefited him massively and everyone can see that when he puts on a Wales shirt.”
