West Ham are in talks to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri (26) and PSG centre-forward Hugo Ekitike (21), according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Premier League side are in the market to bolster their attacking options with a view to compete in both the Premier League and the Europa League. The Hammers have qualified for the continental competition as Europa Conference League winners. The French publication understands that West Ham have identified two centre-forwards to reinforce David Moyes’ side in En-Nesyri and Ekitike.
Foot Mercato reports that PSG Sporting advisor Luís Campos had met with West Ham Technical director Tim Steidten to discuss Ekitike’s switch from Paris to London. Talks have reportedly been positive with the Hammers said to be able to match Ekitike’s wages and PSG’s valuation of their 21-year-old centre-forward. It remains to be seen whether the former Stade de Reims would be willing to join the Hammers considering other European outfits are keeping tabs on him.
West Ham are also keen to bring En-Nesyri to the London Stadium. The Hammers have already contacted the Andalusians and the Moroccan international. Talks are reportedly ongoing with the 2023 Europa League winners, who have set a €33m price tag on their centre-forward.
