If there is one thing that Barcelona fans can cling onto this season, in contrast to plenty of recent seasons, it’s the incredible performances of their young stars. It appears one of their summer acquisitions is going to fit right in.
Pablo Torre, 19, has already been signed by Barcelona for next season. Manager Xavi Hernandez was reportedly involved in the transfer and was key in Torre’s decision to choose the Blaugrana over Real Madrid.
Currently at Racing Santander in the third tier of Spanish football, Torre has been impressive for the Cantabrians all season and his latest stellar performance came against Rayo Majadahonda.

Torre scored a hat-trick, two of which were penalties, in a 4-2 win for his team but was praised for an excellent all-round performance.

In particular, his second effort was a delicious lob over the goalkeeper having broken through from midfield. That takes his tally to 12 goals and 11 assists for the season in 34 matches.

Racing lead their RFEF group by 13 points from Deportivo La Coruna and will be looking to secure promotion back to Segunda before Torre departs this summer.
