Current and former Ajax players have come together to farewell coach Erik ten Hag after his departure for Manchester United.
Ten Hag terminated his Ajax contract early to kickoff his United career on Monday.
Ajax have since put together a farewell video for their former coach, featuring players who have worked with Ten Hag during his time with the club.
From the current squad, Daley Blind, Brian Brobbey, Jurriën Timber, Ryan Gravenberch, Dusan Tadic and Antony expressed their thanks to Ten Hag.
In addition, his former proteges Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona), Matthijs de Ligt (Juventus), Lasse Schöne (NEC) and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar had their say.
The cheekiest message came from goalkeeper Remko Pasveer, who stated: “In the Bible they talk about three wise men from the east”, according to the keeper, who comes from Enschede.
“Amsterdam is currently known with two, but unfortunately you are going to leave us. Then there will be one left. The pressure is quite high for me next year!”
