Villarreal defender Alfonso Pedraza admits a trip to Granada is a test of their European hopes.
Pedraza says their cannot be any underestimating their opponents tomorrow.
“They are in a difficult moment,” he said, “as they have four consecutive defeats. They are playing at home, we will come up against a full ground and it will be a very tough game. It was already difficult against Real Betis and we managed to win. We have the same goal against Granada.”
In addition, Pedraza stressed the need to improve away performances to achieve the European objective: “We have to win away from home to be at the top. At home we are performing well. Away from home is the unfinished business. We’ve just beaten Betis, who are a great team. Away from home, we treat the games as finals, as winning them will be key to consolidate our position at the top of the table.”
Finally, the Yellows No.24 has pointed out that on a personal level he is totally focused on giving his maximum effort: “The team has high standards and there is a lot of competition in the squad. All the players are of the highest quality. I’m focused on giving 100% for the team and getting the best out of them.”
