Tottenham have jumped into the battle for Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Matthias Ginter.
Sky Sports says the 28-year-old is out of contract with the Bundesliga side in the summer, and is allowed to speak to clubs outside of Germany regarding his future.
It is thought that Spurs are one of the clubs interested with West Ham and Aston Villa also monitoring the situation alongside the Italian giants.
The German international has made 26 appearances in the Bundesliga this campaign, but looks set to leave his current club at the end of the season.
Since joining Monchengladbach from fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund back in the 2017 summer transfer window, the centre back has gone on to make 177 appearances across all competitions.
In those appearances, the defender has managed to score 11 goals and provide five assists along the way.
Ginter, who has 46 caps for Germany, can also operate as a defensive midfielder and could prove to be a good addition under Spurs boss Antonio Conte.
