Anthony Martial’s hopes of leaving Manchester United rest on whether the Premier League club will pay a portion of his wages.
Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have both failed in attempts to sign Martial this month.
The Frenchman does not want to join a Premier League club and would prefer to move abroad, per The Guardian.
Sevilla, Juventus and Barcelona have all enquired about the 26-year-old.
United want Martial’s £150,000-a-week salary covered in full, plus a loan fee.
Spanish outfit Sevilla have already failed with a loan bid after failing to reach the aforementioned demands.
Martial would need to convince United to soften their stance if he wants to leave Old Trafford this month.
Interim coach Ralf Rangnick publicly stated that Martial did not want to be included in his squad for Saturday’s draw with Aston Villa.
This caused Martial to refute the claims on social media, where he stated: “I will never refuse to play a match for Man United.
“I’ve been here for seven years and I never disrespected, and will never disrespect, the club and the fans.”
