Serie A PREVIEW | Inter v Frosinone

Inter will aim to reclaim the Serie A top spot from Juventus when they face newly promoted Frosinone tonight at the San Siro.

Inter approach this match on the back of five straight wins across all competitions. The Nerazzurri hope that their upcoming clash will be a walk in the park for them as they are looking to head into the international break as league leaders.

Simone Inzaghi’s men snatched qualification to the knockouts of the Champions League after a Lautaro Martinez 85th-minute penalty strike settled the three points in their favour against Salzburg. Inter have recorded significant victories against Roma, Atalanta and neighbourhood rivals Milan this season. They are a formidable side at the moment as they possess the best goalscoring and defensive record in the league.

Meanwhile, Frosinone have won back-to-back wins coming into this fixture. They progressed to the next round of the Coppa Italia when they knocked out Torino and then followed that up with a 2-1 victory over Empoli.

The Canarinis have been a surprising pack this campaign and they have already distanced themselves by seven points from the relegation zone. After picking up points against Atalanta and Fiorentina, Frosinone are capable of pulling an upset tonight and Inter are well aware of their recent results.
