Damaged by their inconsistent run of results, Fiorentina will look to earn three points on Monday as they host Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Both teams started the season on a high note but have since drifted to different routes. While Fiorentina have been massively inconsistent, Maurizio Sarri’s team has had a fair share of lacklustre days.
As a result, both sides currently find themselves outside the top four positions. But the difference in points between these two is enormous, with Fiorentina having amassed nine points from eight matches and Lazio accumulating 17 from the same number of games in Serie A this campaign.

Team News
Gaetano Castrovilli has not returned to action following his knee surgery. Riccardo Sottil and Antonín Barák are the doubts ahead of the game against Sarri’s men. Sofyan Amrabat, who will reportedly start for La Viola on Monday evening, is one yellow card away from a suspension.
Lazio have restored all of their significant players from injuries. The only absentees for the visitors are Marco Bertini, Nicolò Casale, and Mohamed Fares. Felipe Anderson would start the game along with Ciro Immobile at the top on Monday.
Predicted XIs
Fiorentina (4-3-3): Terracciano; Venuti, Milenkovic, Igor, Biraghi; Bonaventura, Amrabat, Barak; Nico Gonzalez, Kouamé, Saponara.
Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Lazzari, Patric, Romagnoli, Marusic; Milinkovic-Savic, Cataldi, Vecino; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni.
When these two teams last crossed paths, Lazio notched up a 3-0 win, with La Viola ending the game with ten men in February 2022. Since the departure of Dušan Vlahović, Fiorentina have continued to struggle in the goalscoring department. This season, they have scored just seven goals, a number they would like to improve in the game against the Biancocelesti on Monday.
