Goals from Kelvin Amian, Kevin Agudelo, and Petko Hristov went in vain as a seven-goal thriller saw Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio romp to a narrow victory over a high-flying Spezia.
On Saturday evening, Lazio made their trip to La Spezia to salvage a positive result after throwing away the game against Milan last weekend. Following the result against the table-toppers, the pressure on Sarri was immense. And the Biancocelesti fans needed a reaction.
After going behind three times on the night, Lazio showed determination and made their way back into the contest, consequently winning the game on a 4-3 scoreline.
Serie A had a 4-4 in mid-week and Lazio have now picked up a thrilling 4-3 win over Spezia. Not a bad week at all.

Thanks to the goals from Ciro Immobile, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and Francesco Acerbi, neutrals enjoyed an exciting affair. Spezia, led by Thiago Motta, seemed reluctant to leave an inch of the ground.
The home side was unfortunate to lose the game, much like their custodian, Ivan Provedel, who conceded an unlucky own-goal. But Sarri had the last smile as his team climbed up to the fifth spot on the points table for the time being.
