Robert Lewandowski was happy with his Barcelona debut in victory over Real Madrid in Las Vegas.
The former Bayern Munich star, who has stolen the limelight in the team’s preseason tour in the United States, is already thinking about their next friendly against Juventus.
“We’re looking forward to the next game, the next training session, because we feel that something good is coming,” Lewandowski told Barca TV and Tv3.
“I’m very happy to be here and to be part of this team. I don’t feel like I’ve only been with the team for a few days, the feeling is like I’ve been here for months. I feel very supported by both my teammates and the staff.
“I’m going step by step, I feel very good in the team because I see that my teammates are happy that I’m here.
“My adaptation will be easy because Barcelona are a team that always plays in attack to score a lot of goals.”
Despite failing to get his name on the scoresheet on his debut, Lewandowski was happy with Barcelona’s 1-0 win over Los Blancos in Las Vegas.
“Even though it was a friendly, the Clasico is the Clasico and it’s always different and special, and we’re very happy with the quality and intensity we showed,” Lewandowski noted.
“We always think about winning. We have the opportunity to look forward and think that this can be a great season.”
