Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga scored a screamer in La Liga clash with Real Sociedad

Eduardo Camavinga is a special, special football player.

It’s crystal clear why every European club and their dog was queuing up to sign the French midfielder in the summer now that he’s rightfully recognised as one of the finest young players in the sport.

However, in the end, it was Real Madrid who got their hands on the Rennes prodigy in a £27.9-million that is already paying serious dividends despite his humble age of 19 years old.

Camavinga in Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad

Carlo Ancelotti hasn’t been afraid to invest substantial minutes and trust into a young baller who could well take the place of one of Luka Modric, Casemiro or Toni Kroos when the time is right.

While that dizzy day might still be a few years away, it doesn’t mean that Camavinga can’t still make an impact now – and that was certainly the case during the Real Sociedad clash on Saturday night.

With Los Blancos hoping to regain the La Liga title from their city rivals, every point counts and the Madristas were staring at the very real risk of dropped points at the Bernabeu this weekend.

Camavinga’s clean strike vs Real Sociedad

That’s because it was Real Sociedad who took the lead in the Spanish capital when Mikel Oyarzabal smashed an unsaveable early penalty past the outstretched hand of Thibaut Courtois.

However, that’s where Camavinga comes into things because the Real starlet was able to equalise in stunning fashion with the type of stinging, clean strike that you’d associate with his compatriot: Paul Pogba.

You just knew from the moment that Camavinga swung his sledgehammer of a left foot through the ball that it was only going one place and one place only, so be sure to check out the goal in all its glory below:

Take a bow, son, take a bow.

You know those strikes in football where you can just tell that the player hit the sweet spot of the football like a perfect tennis volley? Yeh, that.

Modric produces a screamer of his own

However, remarkably, there’s perhaps reason to think that Camavinga’s truest of true strikes wasn’t even the best Real goal of the half as Modric proceeded to match his younger colleague’s effort.

That’s because the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner produced a left-footed screamer of his own, finding the top corner after some fancy footwork to ensure that the hosts entered the break 2-1 up – give it a watch here:

So, the first-half of Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad was the perfect showcase of what the old and new generations within Ancelotti’s squad can deliver, particularly when it comes to left-footed stunners.

And regardless of whether or not you think Modric actually outdid the club’s up and coming star, there’s no escaping the fact that Camavinga’s latest demonstration of his endless talent was an impressive one.

The future is very, very bright for Real’s new midfield baller.
