Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro admits their form must improve after Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Villarreal.
Real Madrid picked up a point at the Estadio de la Cerámica and Casemiro analysed the team’s display in the game.
He said: “We had a fair few chances in the second half but we weren’t clinical enough and we head home with a point. The coach spoke to us at half-time and guided us a bit. The business end of the season is coming up now and we have to play like we did in the second half.
“Now we’re heading into what is the most beautiful time in football. We have a coaching staff who are working with us brilliantly and guide us always. We want to win everything we can.”
On Gareth Bale and Vinicius Jr, Casemiro added: “Bale hasn’t played for a very long time and Vini keeps working hard and playing well. We all have to be ready to play and do a good job. Vini plays an eye-catching game and he’s showing what an important player he is for us. He has to keep it up.”
