Real Madrid is on the verge of selling left-back Ferland Mendy in the summer transfer window.
SPORT reports that the Frenchman could be on his way out of Real Madrid in the summer transfer window with the club not willing to increase the wage bill of the player and his demands.
Mendywho joined Real Madrid from Lyon in July 2019 has been the preferred left-back at the club with the player being above the pecking order of Marcelo. The 26-year-old has made 94 appearances for Real Madrid this season, chipping in with four goals and six assists in the process.

According to reports, Mendy and his entourage are putting pressure on Real Madrid to increase his wages while still being on a long-term contract. That has not gone down well at the Spanish club, which are now weighing up the prospect of cashing in on the French international in the summer transfer window as they are not willing to offer him the player what he wants.
Real Madrid has recently been linked with left-back Raphael Guerreiro as they look to replace Marcelo who wants to leave the club in the summer as he wants to feature more games.
