Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has played down his role in their recent stunning comebacks.
Speaking to Radio Uno, Ancelotti considered their recent comebacks against Chelsea and Sevilla.
He said, “I don’t ask for strong emotions, I’d like to see quieter games. The magic of this club, this team and these players is coming out. The end of the season is not far away. We hope to end it in the best possible way.
“I can say I’m a lucky coach. I’m coaching a team that I feel very strongly about and that gives me great satisfaction. A very well organised club. I’m the one who has to thank Real Madrid, who gave me the opportunity to come back and coach this team.”
Ancelotti was also asked about Real’s interest in PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.
He added: “I say that the future of this club, thanks to president (Florentino) Perez, is of the highest level. And it will also be in the coming years regardless of the players who may come.
“Real Madrid made football history after the war and will continue to do so for many years to come.”
