Leeds United star man Raphina is open to leaving the club in the summer as he believes they are not the side to take his game to the next level.
The 25-year-old attacker who has been a constant figure in the Brazil national team believes that his chances for featuring for his national team will be limited if he stays at Leeds who are currently struggling in the Premier League and thus is open to joining another team in the English top-flight in the summer.
According to Goal, the player wants to win silverware at club level and doesn’t see Leeds as the club that will help him achieve this.
The Brazil international joined Leeds from Rennes in the summer of 2020 and had a productive debut season with six goals and nine assists from 30 league games and has gone to shine this season where he has bagged eight goals and two assists from 21 league outings.
While Leeds did well last season in the top flight where they finished ninth with 59 points they have struggled this season and are just six points adrift of the drop zone.
Leeds was reluctant to entertain any bids for the Brazilian last summer but may change their stance this time around if Raphinha continues to decline contract talks with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2024. L
Leeds paid £17million for his services but that fee would increase for any team that will be interested in getting the player’s services in the summer.
