Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is open to managing the club on a permanent basis.
United are in the market for a manager who will replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer permanently in the summer with Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag of Ajax being the favorites but Rangnick would like to be considered if the club can settle on someone.
Speaking to The United Stand on Tuesday, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealed that the next Red Devils manager has not been made yet and Rangnick can’t be ruled out of the contention just yet.
Ralf Rangnick would love to keep his job and be #mufc permanent manager but the club want to be 100% sure on the next appointment. Man United ‘need a shock, they need something different, something fresh’. [@FabrizioRomano, United Stand YT]

Rangnick has a quasi-director of football role in place for him in the summer and it would be interesting to see if he will drop that role for the touchline with many having questioned his tactics during his interim reign.
Pochettino is said to be unsettled at PSG as the club has made a lot of moves against his wishes and there are thoughts that he considers managing United as an ultimate dream. For ten Hag, his type of football is something that interests many at Old Trafford but his lack of experience in the Premier league has others worried.
