Updates on the wellbeing of Milan pair Rafael Leão and Davide Calabria have come to the fore after the Rossoneri’s 2-2 draw against Lecce.
For those who may have missed it, wide-man Leão set pulses racing across the Milan fanbase earlier today. En route to the Rossoneri’s eventual 2-2 stalemate with Lecce, which saw them surrender a two-goal advantage, the Portuguese international lasted just ten minutes, before limping from the field of play with what appeared to be a muscular problem.
And Milan’s woes were soon doubled, upon captain Davide Calabria failing to emerge for the 2nd-half owing to an issue of his own.
On the back of a disappointing day for all associated with the club, those of a Diavolo persuasion are therefore no doubt keen to hear the latest on the wellbeing of two key members of Stefano Pioli’s squad.
As per a report from Antonio Vitiello of TuttomercatoWeb, Leao has suffered a right flexor strain, whilst Calabria is suffering from left flexor fatigue.
Both players, in turn, are set to undergo medical tests over the days ahead, after which it will be decided whether or not they are free to depart for international duty.
