Real Madrid risk being outbid by PSG for AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.
Marca says having already agreed personal terms with Los Blancos, it’s now up to the French midfielder to speak to Monaco behind closed doors and ask them to accept Madrid’s offer.
There is no comparison between Real Madrid’s offer and that of Paris Saint-Germain. Real are sticking to their guns, as they believe their offer of 80 million euros, including bonuses, satisfies Monaco’s initial request.
However, as we’ve seen in the past, PSG are willing to break the bank to land players, and rumours suggest their offer is close to, or may even exceed, the 100 million euros mark.
Monaco have yet to respond to Real’s offer, but the hope is that Tchouameni will step in and make it clear he has a deal in place with the Spanish side. So far all talks between the French player and Los Blancos have come with the blessing of Monaco, who are searching the transfer market for an affordable replacement.
