L’Équipe report tonight that Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting advisor Luís Campos is already looking ahead to this year’s summer transfer window, with the club set for another busy transfer window in the wake of the Champions League knockout defeat to Bayern Munich.
The aim remains to build a team around Kylian Mbappé – who PSG have no intention of selling this summer – while some of the club’s youth talents will be trusted with some increased playing time.
Although potential recruits are being looked at across the board – Villarreal defender Pau Torres, or PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré are of interest – the main focus will be strengthening the club’s attacking line.
Campos notably intends to make another move for Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva, having already made an attempt to sign his compatriot last year. The former Monaco man is reportedly on the market this summer, and could be set for a move back to Ligue 1, having previously been interested in joining the Parisians. Silva is under contract for another two seasons.
Other names on the shortlists include Victor Osimhen – a meeting was held a few days ago with the Napoli striker’s agent – as well as another Portuguese forward in Gonçalo Ramos, who Campos is a big fan of.
