Manchester City and Inter clash in the Champions League final tonight at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul to lift the much-coveted prize of European football.
Having won the Premier League and F.A. Cup this season, Pep Guardiola and his men are targeting a much-anticipated treble-winning season and the Champions League is the only piece left to be acquired to complete the puzzle. This is their second Champions League final in three seasons, losing the 2020-21 final to Chelsea. Manchester City will hope not to let another final slip-up haunt them and clinch the trophy.
Meanwhile, Inter face an uphill battle against City who are in fine fettle this season. The Nerazzurri will need to heavily rely on their defence to keep their formidable opponents out of the net and win the match by capitalising on any counter-attack. Simone Inzaghi will hope to embed his name alongside the like of Jose Mourinho as the Portuguese was the last manager to win Inter the Champions League in 2010.
Here are the predicted line-ups according to Sky Italia:
Manchester City (4-1-4-1): Ederson; Walker, Stones, Dias, Akanji; Rodri; Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Grealish; Haaland.
Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
