Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup vs VfL Wolfsburg

After a convincing win at home against VfL Bochum, Borussia Dortmund travel to Wolfsburg in order to keep the pressure on those at the top. With three wins on the bounce, BVB have two more games until the World Cup break. If they can make it five from five to end the year, it’ll put them in a great position to challenge for the title. However, having just beaten Mainz 3-0, Wolfsburg will be full of confidence and are gradually climbing the table,

Team News

Youssoufa Moukoko scored twice on the weekend and is becoming his team’s go-to man for goals. At just 17 years and 350 days, Moukoko became the youngest player to score 10 goals in the Bundesliga ahead of Florian Wirtz. “Records are there to be broken,” Moukoko said confidently.

In terms of injury news, there is no fresh update with the usual suspects still out of action. Out of the injured players, Thomas Meunier is the closest to returning after suffering a broken cheekbone. It is worth mentioning that everyone welcomed the return of Marco Reus on the weekend who got a good 20 minutes or so under his belt.  Other than that, it could be a very similar lineup to the team that beat Bochum on the weekend.

Predicted lineup

Kobel – Süle, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Guerreiro – Bellingham, Özcan – Reyna, Brandt, Malen – Moukoko.
