Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup vs VfL Bochum

With Borussia Dortmund safely through the Champions League knockout stages, it’s back to the Bundesliga for a flurry of games before the World Cup. BVB are 4th and need to keep the pressure on those above them. Hosting 17th place Bochum, this weekend is a simply must-win affair.

Team News

Jude Bellingham was rested for the first time in the 1-1 draw against FC Copenhagen but has played every single minute in the Bundesliga so far and scored three goals in the competition. Head coach Edin Terzić will certainly be relying on the youngster once again against Bochum on Saturday.

As well as Bellingham, both Gregor Kobel and Mats Hummels were taken off at halftime as a precaution. Both should start against Bochum without a doubt. Terzić mentioned in the week that the plan was to have Marco Reus back for this game but his fitness remains the issue. He may be fit enough for a spot on the bench and the last 15 minutes depending on how the game is going. What’s more, Raphael Guerreiro should return and US international Gio Reyna could be in line for another start.

Predicted lineup

Borussia Dortmund

Kobel – Süle, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Guerreiro – Özcan, Bellingham – Adeyemi, Brandt, Reyna – Moukoko.
