Paulo Dybala deemed injured ahead of Udinese clash

Paulo Dybala has been deemed injured by the Roma medical staff, making him unavailable to feature within the squad for the capital side’s upcoming fixture against Udinese.

Sky Italia reports that the medical examinations to which the 29 year-old was subjected to confirmed  fatigue excluding injuries to the right abductor, after the aggravated movement that had forced him to stop during the first half of the Giallorossi’s Europa League fixture against Feyenoord.

Consequently, Dybala will therefore miss the match against Udinese, but the club is optimistic about the Argentinian forward  recovering in time for the return leg against the Dutch outfits Thursday evening.

So far this season, the Argentine has been a vital asset for Mourinho’s side, amassing 11 goals and six assists in 22 games-played within the Serie A since departing Juventus on a free transfer.

As it stands within the league standings, Roma currently sit in third with 53 points, only one point above third-placed Milan. A victory against Le Zebrette is crucial for  the capital club as it would provide them with an advantage within the race for a top-four spot.

With Mourinho missing  arguably his most efficient producer within the final third, the task of sealing all three points at the Stadio Olimpico against Sottil’s side has become a far bigger hurdle.
