Understandably, some of OGC Nice’s key players are garnering interest this winter. The club currently sit second, and there have been standout performances from the likes of Jean-Clair Todibo and Marcin Bulka. The former is reportedly of interest to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, however, as sporting director Florent Ghisolfi told Nice-Matin, Les Aiglons are not willing sellers.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham and Manchester United are interested in Todibo, with the former even opening talks over a January move. The France international is high on the London club’s list and discussions with Todibo’s entourage are ongoing.
However, prior to the opening of the transfer window, Ghisolfi struck a defiant tone, stating that the club’s objective is to retain their major players.
Nice in the market for two players
“The objective of stability also means keeping our team, or at least our major players. Perhaps we’ll do one or two loan deals for young players struggling for game time. Like all clubs, we are subject to the laws of the market but our desire is to keep everybody,” Ghisolfi told Nice-Matin.
Ghislofi added that the club are also looking to recruit two players during the upcoming transfer window: one forward and one defender. The OGCN sporting director said that the club are looking for “versatile” profiles.
