Noah Okafor is thrilled to make a move to AC Milan.
The former RB Salzburg striker made the switch to Milan on Saturday.
“It’s a dream come true, I’m happy: I’m in a club full of history. I can’t wait to meet the fans at San Siro,” he said.
“I played against Milan in the Champions League, that’s where interest was born. Then a couple of weeks ago I received the news, I was happy because I only wanted Milan.
“Now the negotiation is over, so it’s time to push! I admired Kakà and Ronaldinho, I try to learn from legends like that to get to their level or even better.
“I scored in the first game in the Champions League, in the return I was impressed by San Siro. The fans supported the team for 90 minutes, it was incredible. Milan had so many young players, they tried to play football. I’m here to give my best and help the team. I can’t wait to get started.”
Okafor also said: “I’m fast and capable in one-on-one situations. I’m flexible, I can play as a first striker or in a duo attack, I want to take advantage of my speed.
“Italy is a step forward. Playing in the World Cup is a dream for every young player, you need discipline and I want to show it to Milan. I’m energetic.
“We’re a strong team, with important goals. Tomorrow I’ll go to Los Angeles and meet my team-mates, they’re all nice and easy-going.”
