Newcastle United star Jacob Murphy ended a 14-month drought when he scored against Brentford in the Premier League.
The Magpies winger was delighted to score one of the easiest goals of his career, a tap-in, to net the second goal in a 5-1 thrashing of the Bees.
The goal was laid on a plate for Murphy by his attacking teammate Callum Wilson.
Not afraid to admit that he owed his teammate a lot of credit for his goal, Murphy took to social media to praise Wilson.
He posted a picture of the duo on Instagram with the caption: “Thank you bro, I owe you.”
Newcastle will be taking on Manchester United next weekend in the Premier League, as they look to continue their outstanding start to the season.
