Mohamed Salah has expressed his delight after hitting 150 goals for Liverpool in their win over Norwich on Saturday.
The Egyptian became the second-fastest player in Liverpool’s history to bring up the milestone, as he scored the second goal for the Reds in what was his 233rd appearance for the club.
Speaking after the game, Salah said: “It feels great. We were struggling in the beginning when we conceded the goal but I think we played good football [in the] first half. In the second half, we conceded the goal, so the game became tougher.
150 – @MoSalah is the 10th player to score 150 goals in all competitions for @LFC, and the second-quickest to reach this total for the club (233 apps) after Roger Hunt (226 apps). Statue. pic.twitter.com/nFo0ZRcAAm

“But we managed to come back and it’s a great result. Of course, I’m happy to score 150. I’m always proud to score for this club, and the most important thing is to win games, which is what we did today.”
Salah goal came after Sadio Mane had restored parity for the hosts following a shock lead by the visitors. New signing Luis Diaz ensured the points were safe for the Jurgen Klopp side with a delicious dink late on.
