Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi feels they have Inter Milan worried.
Moggi believes Juve are the one team which can stop Inter winning the Scudetto this season.
He wrote for Libero: “Football is an intriguing subject, predictions are made today that have no value tomorrow and too often due to the inconsistency of those who make them. Now there is talk of Inter in difficulty just because they failed to beat Genoa at Marassi, as if it were not possible to make half a misstep.
“And in football inconsistency often becomes a cause for discussion. A few days earlier it was whispered that Inter was dominating the championship, after the draw with Genoa we read that they felt the breath and pressure of the Bianconeri on their neck, almost as if they were afraid of being caught up and overtaken. It could well be, but it shouldn’t be surprising only now, also because the two have been competing since the beginning of the championship.
“Evidently Juve is starting to be scary, having been unbeaten in 13 games (10 wins and 3 draws). Overall, Inter remain the stronger, they have more scoring ability and a better midfield. While Juventus plays counterattacks, they know how to defend even the slightest advantage with the defensive wall and also manage to make any opponent play badly: Inter themselves know something about this, as they didn’t go beyond a 1-1 draw at the Allianz. So the battle between the two could even last until the end.”
