Winger Alexis Saelemaekers has reportedly expressed discontent with the Milan management and wants a Bundesliga switch this summer.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Milan right-winger Alexis Saelemaekers is unhappy with the lack of playing time under manager Stefano Pioli and is expecting to leave the club in this transfer window.
The Belgian has shown enormous potential during his three seasons with the Rossoneri and with time on his side, he is set to develop more in the coming years.
However, a lack of playing time has loomed over the 23-year-old this past season under Stefano Pioli which is containing him from discovering his full potential.
There is talk that Samuel Chukwueze could become a Rossoneri in the next few days and the arrival of the Nigerian right-winger will further hinder Saelemaekers’ chances of becoming a starter in the team.
The player likes the Bundesliga and dreams of playing there at some point in the future but the case might be coming sooner rather than later. If Alexis doesn’t receive a definite answer to increase his playing time from Milan, he will have grounds to leave the club this summer.
As things stand, no German club have emerged to test the waters for the Belgian.
