Gleison Bremer looks poised to leave Torino this summer, with a plethora of clubs appearing to be interested in the services of the Brazilian defender.
Today’s edition of La Stampa reports that Milan have started gaining an advantage over their intercity rivals Inter in the transfer pursuit of Bremer.
The defender has loads of admirers from abroad, with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur being a keen observer of the situation. As per the report, Torino are asking for a transfer fee of around €35-40million for the defender, who is bound to Granata’s contract until June 2024.
Inter have reportedly offered Andrea Pinamonti (and Dimarco in an alternative deal) to the Turin-based club. But Ivan Juric’s side is looking for some cash in return.
To accumulate the prize, the Nerazzurri will need to part ways with Alessandro Bastoni, who has suitors in Chelsea and Spurs in the market. On the other hand, Milan will look to sign a centre-half since the current Scudetto holders are not enjoying too much security in their central defensive department.
Bremer, 25, has won the title of the best defender in Serie A for the 2021/22 season. Having played 33 games in Serie A 2021/22 campaign, the Brazilian has amassed heaps of plaudits for his robust defensive displays.
