There are reports that the Englishman feels he can still compete in the top level and according to The Sun, Boro manager Chris Wilder wants a new No1 and is keen to sign the 36-year-old on a season-long loan.
The report states that Wilder has been dreaming of a reunion with Henderson after they spent two successful seasons together at Sheffield United and the keeper is still thinking about the move with changes expected to happen in United’s goalkeeping department in the summer.
