PSG star Kylian Mbappe’s mother Fayza Lamary has rubbished claims the forward has agreed to extend his stay at the French club.
The youngster’s future has been the subject of debate through the season, with his current deal with the French champions set to expire in June.
This means the 23-year-old will become a free agent, with a move to Real Madrid, who’ve tracked him for a while now, a possibility.
The French club have however stepped up their efforts to convince Mbappe to sign a new deal, but nothing has been agreed upon.
Reports then emerged on Thursday that the club had reached an agreement with Mbappe over a two-year contract extension, something Lamary has denied.
“There’s NO agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain or any other club. Discussions around Kylian’s future continue in great serenity to allow him to make the best choice, in the respect of all the parties”. Mbappe’s mother said in a statement.
