Borussia Dortmund face competition from the Premier League for Hoffenheim left-back David Raum, according to Sky Germany.
Despite a contract until 2026, a transfer this summer is likely given that Hoffenheim missed out on European football with a host of clubs interested in signing the Germany international.
Borussia Dortmund had been in pole position for some time as they look to strengthen their left-back position but they must sell one of Nico Schulz or Raphaël Guerreiro to fund a move for Raum.
Per the report, Manchester United are one of several Premier league clubs that are interested in signing Raum with Bild further adding that Newcastle United and West Ham United are interested in signing the 24-year-old.
At the moment, a move abroad seems more likely given their financial capabilities with Hoffenheim asking for a fee around €40m for Raum before a release clause comes into play in 2023.
Raum was one of the best performers in the Bundesliga last season, putting the most crosses into the penalty area in Europe’s top five leagues, per FBRef, whilst the former Greuther Fürth player created 11 in 32 Bundesliga games for TSG since joining on a free transfer last summer.
