Manchester United have made an offer for a surprise goalkeeping target this week.
The Red Devils are said to have put in a bid worth £2.5 million for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.
Sports Digitale reporter Murat Zorlu suggests that Bayindir, who is 25, may be considered a second choice keeper at United next season.
The experienced shot stopper managed 26 games in the Super Lig last term.
United are chasing Andre Onana as their first choice target to replace out of contract veteran David De Gea.
The Red Devils are also likely to sell their second keeper, Dean Henderson, as he wants to join Nottingham Forest permanently.
