Manchester City and Liverpool are monitoring Bukayo Saka’s situation at Arsenal with the youngster yet to sign a new deal.
Saka has been an important player for Arsenal since Mikel Artea took over and started all but two of the Gunners Premier League games this season, netting 11 goals and providing seven assists.
Daily Mail reports that Manchester City have ‘stepped up their interest’ in the 20-year-old and are now ‘closely monitoring developments regarding Saka’s future’ with the player having two years left on his current deal with the Gunners.

City are being encouraged by the fact that Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League a competition that Saka is said to be interested in playing in; the player yet to feature in the showpiece.
While the report indicates that a move this summer might look unlikely, both teams might return for the player next season if his contract situation at the Emirates doesn’t change.
As for Liverpool, Saka could be being eyed as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian having failed to agree to a new deal and so far also out-of-contract in 12 months’ time.
