Luka Jovic is eager to make the most of his move to Fiorentina.
The Real Madrid striker has joined on a straight season-long loan.
Presented to the Florence media today, Jovic declared: “As I have said on several occasions, it is a great pleasure to be here and I am delighted to wear this shirt. Many players from the Balkans have come to play here and this has given me a boost.
“There are Serbian players who are helping me and I am ready to give everything by responding to the coach’s requests.
“I still haven’t had the opportunity to play in Serie A but I have grown up watching this championship and I have seen many changes, now it is less defensive than before and you score a lot and I hope I can score a lot.”
Jovic arrives after Serbia teammate Dusan Vlahovic left for Juventus in January.
He added: “We didn’t talk after the signing, but we saw each other in the national team and he always spoke well to me about the team, the fans, the coach and the club and this helped me make this choice.”
