It is the second successive year the 33-year-old has won the award having notched 41 goals in the previous campaign with Bayern; a team he says he wants to leave in the summer.

The player has openly admitted that he wants to move with FC Barcelona being his possible destination. The Polish has been involved in a war of words with the Bundesliga giants who he claims has not been honest with how they are treating his desires.

Barcelona are confident that they will be getting the player but wants to sell some of their players so as to fund the move.
