Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has shrugged off talk of his job being in doubt.
The Foxes go to Randers tomorrow for the Europa Conference League.
Rodgers said, You’re always open to criticism in this game if you’re not getting results. What we’ve achieved here has been fantastic.
He joked: “Credit in the bank doesn’t last that long, I’m not even sure there’s any left now.”
He continued: “I just try to look at the logic, I don’t get emotional with words. We’ve been missing players, and that has led to inconsistency.
“Against Wolves and West Ham, our performance level has been really pleasing. We’re coming back to the level we’ve been the past few years.
“I’ve been asked so many times about other clubs, but my focus has always been here.
“We needs to keep writing chapters at the club. Our squad isn’t deep enough, and that will affect performance.
“We will be open to criticism if we don’t get the results. Collectively we needed to look at each other and improve.
“But we have achieved something special already, and this young team and I are ready to keep on doing that.”
