Leeds winger Raphina is set to force a summer move to Laliga giants FC Barcelona.
Raphina has been an important cog of the Leeds team in the English top-flight but there is a feeling by the player that he would be better placed to win trophies in another team.
Raphinha is represented by Deco, who has close ties with the Catalan club. It has been claimed that personal terms have already been agreed upon as the former Rennes star is keen on a move to Camp Nou in the summer according to Mundo Deportivo.
The move will be necessitated by Barca’s reluctance to sign Adama Traore on a permanent deal with the player yet to cement a place in the first team since his move from Wolves in January.
Attention for Barca has been on the signings of Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie have reportedly been closed already while the Catalans have also tied down Ansu Fati, Pedri, and Ronald Araujo to new contracts, with an extension for Gavi on the way.
Raphina is seen as a perfect replacement for winger Ousmane Dembele whose contract with the team is coming to an end next month and has been linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain.
Negotiations with Leeds, however, are yet to take place. The report adds that Barcelona is waiting to see where the Whites finish the season before beginning talks for their target.
As things stand, Leeds is just two points clear of the relegation zone with four games left and relegation would mean that they get the player at a lesser price.
