Leeds boss Gracia: I can’t find words to speak to fans

Leeds United manager Javi Gracia admitted he could not find the words to talk to the club’s supporters.

The Spaniard had started his reign with optimism after taking over from the sacked Jesse Marsch.

However, the past few weeks have seen Leeds fall down the table, as they suffer one humiliating loss after another.

At the weekend, they lost 4-1 to Bournemouth, while the fans chanted: “You’re not fit to wear the shirt” and “Sack the board.”

“At this moment, I don’t find the words for our supporters,” said interim boss Gracia post-game.

“It is hard for them, hard for us, the situation we are living. At this moment I think they prefer to see their team playing better and winning games than listening to me. For our fans, what they really want is to see the team win. All of us are frustrated, the fans as well.”
