Lazio are yet to please Mino Raiola with an offer for Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli.
A report from La Repubblica claims that Lazio and Romagnoli’s entourage are yet to agree on the terms over the defender’s potential move to the Rome-based club this summer.
The report understands that Claudio Lotito, the Lazio president, remains reluctant to make the right offer for the boyhood Biancoceleste fan ahead of his planned summer transfer to Rome.
Lotito is offering the current Milan captain a fixed salary of €2.8million plus various performance-related bonuses for a four-year contract. On the other hand, Raiola is reportedly awaiting an offer of €3million in fixed salary.
The parties are not understandably far from reaching an agreement, but any of the two needs to compensate for their demands to reach an agreement over the next few weeks.
With Romagnoli’s contract at Milan coming to an end this summer, the centre-back seems destined to join Lazio as a free agent. Meanwhile, Juventus and multiple clubs from outside Italy have been keeping tabs on the situation.
