Kristjan Asllani is delighted with his first days with Inter Milan.
The former Empoli midfielder moved to Inter last week.
“I’ve always been focused only on Inter and as soon as I got the request I accepted immediately,” Asllani said.
“The important thing is to bring something home. Honestly I would like to win the Scudetto. I chose Perisic’s number 14, he even wrote to wish me good luck and I’m happy. The number is also for my brother’s birthday.
“At first I didn’t believe it. Then when I signed it was a wonderful emotion for me and my family. I am very happy.”
Asllani also said, “I don’t have a lot of pressure. Although I am very critical of myself. I always watch the matches to understand where and in what I can improve.
“These have been great days, the acclimatisation is going very well, we have been together for a few days and the boys have welcomed me very well: I am very happy.
“I’m not used to such a big sports centre. Then the boys, of course: I used to see them on television, now I play with them.”
