Juventus coach Max Allegri has ducked questions about a Bosman bid for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
United have been unable to negotiate new terms with Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola and Juve have been touted for a possible move, to bring him back to the club. The Frenchman impressed for the Old Lady between 2012 and 2916.
Pogba made a goalscoring return to the United side against Burnley earlier in the season, after a lengthy spell on the sideline for a thigh injury and has been a first-team regular since his comeback.
But he remains very likely to depart in the summer, with Allegri now responding to reports that Juventus are leading the chase for his signature. The Italian refused to rule out a move when pressed by reporters.
Allegri said: “On the market, talking about Pogba or something doesn’t make sense. He’s a Manchester United player and I don’t know what he’s going to do next year, we have a good relationship but at the moment it doesn’t make sense to talk about the market. We have to think about our objectives.”
