Liverpool manager believes that James Milner could play past the current season.
There have been reports that Milner has considered retiring from active football as he is yet to sign a new deal with Liverpool despite the current one expiring in the summer but Klopp believes the player has still a lot to offer.
“I am in talks with Millie and we will see. There’s no chance that Millie will retire next year. He is desperate to play on, and I understand it to be honest.

“Life after a career, when you are lucky enough to stay healthy, it’s normally much longer than your career, so you should extend your career as long as you can. Millie will be fine after his career, but he obviously loves what he is doing. He will play football next year definitely,” Klopp said.
Milner turned 36 last month and has made 273 appearances while scoring 26 goals for the Reds.
